Family business
Adriatic Yacht Charter (AYC) was founded in 1999 as a small family business and remains so today, despite owning more than 60 boats and one marina. Its domain is yachting in its native Croatia. Both owners and employees are passionate sailors for whom boats are a life mission. They are therefore happy to advise you on anything related to sailing or boats.
Croatia from North to South
Adriatic Yacht Charter has its boats in four marinas on the Croatian coast. In the north of the country you can sail from Pula on the Istrian peninsula and from 2019 also from the new marina in Medulin, which AYC also owns. For example, try our weekly recommended itinerary in our article Istria and Kvarner Bay without the crowds. Around Split in southern Dalmatia, you'll find Adriatic Yacht Charter boats in the marina of Kaštela, from where you can easily reach the islands of Hvar, Brač, Vis... and you can admire the south of Croatia on boats from ACI Marina in Dubrovnik, from where it's just a short walk to Boka Kotor in Montenegro.
SOS line during charter
All AYC boats have wifi on board. So you don't have to worry about losing contact with the world even during the cruise. Another interesting fact is that all boats are equipped with a mobile phone, which you can use to contact the charter company free of charge in case of need or emergency.
A well-maintained modern fleet of sailing boats and catamarans
Adriatic Yacht Charter has in its fleet classic sailing and motor bo ats from the most popular manufacturers such as Bavaria, Hanse, Dufour, Bénéteau, Jeanneau, as well as the popular Lagoon catamarans. All boats are handled with care here and thanks to more than twenty years of experience, they handle repairs and maintenance with ease and care. In general, AYC keeps their fleet "young" – their boats have no build date older than ten years and they add several new models every year. Their sailboats and catamarans thus have superior equipment such as air conditioning, generator and bow truster. The latest additions to the fleet include the Beneteau Oceanis 46.1, Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 and Beneteau Oceanis 51.1.
